When you call 911, you need help right now. You’re probably not thinking about who is going to show up, but you’d be very fortunate if the North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad arrives at your door.
The North Myrtle Beach Rescue Squad has been providing free emergency medical care to the community since 1958. We never send a bill to patients or insurance companies.
Every one of our EMTs and Paramedics are state- and nationally-certified. We all volunteer our time and expertise to the Rescue Squad as a service to our community.
We receive no funding from the City of North Myrtle Beach, Horry County, South Carolina or the federal government. Our budget is funded by generous donations from the public.
